Description

In the sintering plant in R.Ž “Topilnica” j.s.c Skopje the gas cleaning system has been reconstructed and readapted. The gas cleaning is performed in electro static filter, mechanical filter and also dry scrubbers as well. The differential method is used for cleaning hot and cold gases from the sinter machine and has been used and ambient air from the whole plant as well.
The mini sintering plant is primarily intended for the production of sinter from fine fractions of various types of ores and concentrates. For the production of manganese sinter-sinter, For the production of manganese sinter-sinter, manganese concentrate from the surface mine “Užinica” concession on the mountain of Stogovo, Kichevo, manganese fines from Khalkidhiki peninsula from Greece, fine fractions from slag FeMnC and SiMnC and manganese rich imported ores from Ghana and Botswana, fine fractions from imported rich manganese ores, fine coke, coking coal and smelters such as (dolomite and limestone) are used also fine crushed or granulated slag from ferromanganese and silicomanganese. The granulation of the ore tailings is 0-8 mm, of the coke 0-5 mm and of the smelters 0-4 mm. The sintering plant was purchased by the company DELLATTRE LEVIER/CREZOT-LOIRE from France.
The projected production capacity is 825 tons per day or a total of 260,000 tons per year. The raw materials required for the production of sinter are transported from the raw material preparation to the daily bunkers of the mini sinter plant.
