Student Hackathon: Innovative Solutions for Waste Revalorization
Are you a student with ideas to help our environment? Join our Green Innovation Challenge! This hackathon is your chance to create solutions that help reduce waste and protect our planet.
On April 25th, 2025, as part of the Second Conference on Green Engineering, Sustainable Materials and Technologies at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, we will host a student hackathon focused on Green Ideas for Revalorization of Bio and Industrial Waste Materials.
The Green Circ Conference is looking for student teams to develop new ideas that support circular economy. This means finding ways to reuse materials, reduce waste, and create sustainable solutions for our future.
You don't need to be an expert! We want to hear fresh ideas from students who care about environmental issues. This is your opportunity to work with friends, learn new skills, and possibly see your ideas become reality.
Participants should submit their abstracts through the official conference website using the standard abstract submission process. Each team will deliver a concise 5-minute presentation of their concept, followed by a 5-minute defense period during which they will address questions from the panel.
We are committed to making this event accessible to all interested students. Therefore, all participants are exempt from any registration fees associated with the conference.
Participation requirements:
- Teams must consist of 1-3 students.
- All participants must be currently enrolled students.
- Teams must submit a complete application by 15th April 2025.
- Registration of abstracts must be submitted through the conference website as a regular abstract submission.
For questions and additional information, please contact us through the official contact email addresses.
We look forward to seeing your creative solutions for a more sustainable future!
