Description

The process of developing of new drugs is greatly hampered by their inadequate physicochemical, pharmacokinetic, and intrinsic characteristics. In this regard, the selected to were subjected to SwissADME. For the investigated compounds, the BOILED-Egg pharmacokinetic model predicted favorable gastrointestinal absorption, with selected compounds showing potential for blood–brain barrier (BBB) penetration and p-glycoprotein interaction. The physicochemical analysis indicated generally favorable drug-like properties and oral absorption potential. Although the compounds showed interactions with several major CYP450 isoforms, the predicted profiles suggest potential CYP450 inhibition and substantial plasma protein binding, which may contribute to their distribution and overall pharmacokinetic behavior. Overall, these findings support the compounds as promising candidates for further pharmacokinetic and drug-likeness evaluation.

Keywords: C5-curcuminoids, In silico analysis, SwisaADME.
